We’re pleased to announce the launch of Composer-To-Composer with Minnesota Orchestra for their '03-'04 season! Beginning October 22, scheduled composers include John Corigliano, Aaron Jay Kernis, Peter Lieberson, Nicholas Maw and Stephen Paulus. Full Story

Composers Jesse Ayers, Greg Schaffner, John Turner, Ben Yarmolinsky, and Edward David Zeliff have been selected as participants in the 2004 Essentially Choral Reading Program, co-sponsored by the Forum and VocalEssence. Full Story

WELCOME CHRISTMAS! 2003 CAROL WINNERS ANNOUNCED
Thomas Fielding (Bloomington, Ind.) and Alan Higbee (Beechwood, Ohio) were selected from a total of 74 entries from 28 states as the winners of the Sixth Annual Welcome Christmas! Carol Contest, co-sponsored by the Forum and VocalEssence. Full Story

MASTER CLASS WITH GEORGE CRUMB
In cooperation with the MacPhail Center for Music, the Chamber Music Society of Minnesota and The Schubert Club, the Forum co-presented a Q & A Session featuring George Crumb at MacPhail. Full Story

FIRST ROUND OF ENCORE AWARDS ANNOUNCED
Earlier this year the chapter launched Encore, a new program that covers rehearsal and presentation costs for repeat performances of recent works by Forum composers. Congratulations to all Encore grant recipients!
