HOLDS MASTER CLASS FOR ATLANTA-AREA COMPOSERS
On
April 2, the contemporary music group Ensemble Thamyris held a master
class and reading session at Spivey Hall, on the campus of Clayton College
and State University in Morrow, Ga. Co-sponsored by the chapter and
the CCSU music department, both events were open to Forum members and

ENSEMBLE IMPROMPTU READS WORKS BY AREA COMPOSERS
On
March 11, the chapter and the Impromptu choral ensemble held a reading
session in the resonant setting of Atlanta’s Episcopal Church of

KNUSSEN MEETS WITH MEMBERS AT ASO CONCERTS
Following
the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra three concerts during the weekend of
February 20, Forum members were invited to the conductor’s suite
at Atlanta Symphony Hall to meet composer Oliver Knussen.
