Artist's Statement:
Music is like food. One can mix all sorts of ingredients together but some will taste better than others. I feel it takes many years of study and practice to become a good composer. My interests vary from viola da gamba music to music of the erhu. I love music of other cultures. I played in several world music ensembles at Florida State University and enjoy the timbres and melodies of other musical languages. Music of the last 50 years is also my primary focus as a performer and composer. I am currently writing music for myself these days in order to assure good performances.

Recent Works:
Hysterical Fragments for solo piano 2007
Drift for solo viola and electronics 2007
Tempestas for large orchestra 2007
A Parting for solo violin 2007
