Introduction:
World class guitarist composer, over 1000 works, many for guitar. Recent performed works include String quartet, Quintet for Guitar and String quartet, Symphonic Poem, etc.
Biography:
After a lifelong study of music, Frank Lee Sprague has accumulated a wealth of compositions in all of the chamber and orchestral mediums. Currently composing, recording, and performing. This native of Wichita Falls, Texas has settled in North Hollywood, California and worked with the best musicians the area has to offer. There are a number of signifigant works for his main instrument guitar, as well as all of the possible combinations with other instruments. Mr. Sprague is prolific in orchestral composition as well. 60x60 is a concert containing 60 compositions from 60 different composers, with each composition being 60 seconds or less in duration. These 60 recorded pieces are performed in succession without pause, one after another, for 1 hour. 60x60 creates an environment of many different styles and approaches to contemporary music. With 60 pieces each 60 seconds long from different composers, the concert brings a variety of sounds and creativity all put together in a one hour concert.
