Introduction:
Minneapolis-based composer and pianist. Primarily music-theatre and vocal works.

Biography:
Born in Saint Paul in 1957, raised on the prairie. Played in a lot of bars and churches--blues, jazz, Western Swing, European traditional, gospel, spirituals. Active dance accompanist. Self-trained composer.

Artist's Statement:
I write mostly for singers, dancers and actors. I like to make music that serves a purpose and toys with the limits of genre.
