Genre: whatever pays the bills
Introduction:
I accept commissions for a wide variety of music projects. My general rate is $25.00 per part per minute of music.
Biography:
Tyler Kaiser was born in Duluth, Minnesota and has composed, performed, taught and lived in this area longer than some would consider prudent. Why? He doesn't want the alternative of living in a crime-ridden, overpopulated, expensive to live in metropolis just because that is supposedly what successful musicians are supposed to do (even though some metropolises are quite nice), and, this area is his home--you know, where family and friends live. These people are also often the people for whom he composes, teaches and performs. So, most of his credentials are from this area but, if you really want to know, he has received some national and international recognition too; if you want a list, send him an e-mail: tkaiser@css.edu.
Artist's Statement:
Beauty is the measure of metaphor.
Also, I used to be a member back in '84 or '85 when ACF was still MCF but, I quit for a while.
