Biography:
Taught choral music and theatre in Yonkers, NY 1967 - 1986
and in Cambridge NY 1986 - 2000.
Conducted adult and youth community choruses and church choirs.
Ove the years, Douglas has composed and arranged music for his choirs with great success. Now in retirement from public school, he
continues to direct chorus and theatre, and is now publishing his
compositions on OpusDb.
Recent Works:
"On Another's Sorrow" Text by William Blake, set for SATB with piano accompaniment.
"Wisdom" Text from Sirac 1: 1-20, set for SATB a cappella.
