Introduction:
Choral composer and conductor. Tuner and seller of pipe organs. Fisherman and lover of classic cars.
Biography:
Paul Lohman is a life-long Minnesota resident and has received degrees in music from Augsburg College and the University of Minnesota. As a choral conductor he has led the Augsburg Choir and the National Lutheran Choir and served several area congregations for more than 20 years. His choral compositions have been performed world-wide and have been presented in concert by numerous choral ensembles including VocalEssence, The St. Olaf Manitou Singers, and The National Lutheran Choir. In addition to being self-published his compositions have been published by Boosey & Hawkes, Augsburg Fortress, and AMSI. He is the Upper Midwest representative for the Schantz Organ Company, and composes and lives happily with his boxer, Zora, near Lake Harriet in Minneapolis.
