Biography:
Sherry Wohlers Ladig, a native of Lake City, Minnesota, now lives in St. Paul, MN, where she writes and arranges music for small ensembles, chamber groups, and her three bands. They are Irish traditional trio Dunquin, Scottish band Thistledown, and 19th century American music group, New Pearl Button Players.
Her new Scottish and Irish pieces have won several awards, and many of them are featured on Dunquin's two cds, "Dunquin" and "Postcards From Ireland". CD recordings of some of Dunquin's live concerts are also available. You may contact Sherry at: ladig-dunquin@msn.com.

I write new music based on recognizable old forms, and new music for collaborations and celebrations.
