Carolina Heredia is an Argentinian acoustic and electronic music composer based in Los Angeles. As the Director of Programs, Carolina oversees all current artists’ programs, ensuring ACF provides relevant resources and a space for artists to feel welcomed and empowered. She contributes to developing partnerships and programs that understand, value, and invest in today’s music creators.

Carolina holds a Doctorate in Music Composition and was a Research Fellow for the Institute of Humanities at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Before joining the ACF team as an arts administrator, she was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Missouri where she later held the position of Assistant Professor in Music Composition tenure track.

As a composer, she has received awards from the Fromm Music Foundation, the Barlow Endowment, the Missouri Music Teachers Association, and the Chamber Music OC International Prize, among others. Her works have been published by Hall Leonard and produced by Orchid Classics, Navona Records, and Alban Records. She was a founding member and the Executive Director of the Khemia Ensemble, a group dedicated to music by living composers and intermedia art. She is currently a founding member of ANTiCX, a collective of multimedia artists.
